Awards
What Awards will be at NAHSF?
Projects entered in the North Alabama Homeschool Science and Engineering Fair will be competing for two types of awards.
First, all projects will be judged by category and grade. Each category will have a 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and Honorable Mention. Categories will be based on the subject of the project and number of projects on each subject. We will be using the ISEF categories as a starter and combine or separate as needed. Also there will be four grade divisions to keep 1st grade students from competing against 12th graders. They will be divided into the following groups. K to 4th grade, 5th and 6th grade, 7th and 8th grade and 9th to 12th grade.
The second type of award that we will be giving away will be the Special awards. These are given for a project strong in one area.
